Governing Board

The 5 Commissioners serve 6 year terms and are elected by the patrons of the district. No party affiliated. Commissioners are elected in the November general election of the odd years and terms are staggered so that as nearly as mathematically possible, one-third of the Board is elected every two years. The Board of Commissioners meets every month. January through April & June through October, monthly Board meeting take place on the 4th Thursday at 5:30pm in the Guild Room at the Hospital. In May and December, the Board meets on the 3rd Thursday at 5:30pm in the Guild Room at the Hospital. In November, the Board meets on the 2nd Thursday at 5:30pm in the Guild Room at the Hospital. The officers of the Board, Chairperson & Vice-Chairperson/Secretary, are elected at the January meeting of the even years.
