Cliff Mooney

In early March, Cliff Mooney started feeling unwell, shaking and weak. His children took him to the ER at Odessa Memorial Hospital, where he would stay for an entire month to recover from __________.

Over the course of his stay, Cliff underwent X-rays, CT scans, and was prescribed medication to address his condition. He also formed a special bond with the staff during his month-long stay. “The staff did everything they could to make me feel comfortable,” he said. “Press the button, and they were there. Everybody was so darn nice about it, helping me with everything. They would even come talk to me if I couldn’t sleep. I felt like I was the only person there. They sure were a hard-working bunch, and I have nothing but good things to say about my care.”

The food was another highlight for Cliff, who enjoyed a variety of options for every meal. “I ate everything, and it was all excellent,” Cliff laughs.

The staff also helped Cliff with rehab exercises to speed his recovery. “Now I can take care of myself, even though I live alone,” he says proudly. “The experience I had at Odessa Memorial Hospital was so much better than what I’ve had elsewhere. The staff’s kindness and attention was remarkable!”
