Biohazard Containers
  1. Regulated waste; sometimes called biomedical, biohazardous or infectious waste, includes:
    1. Blood, or OPIMs Contaminated sharps Dressings, towels or other items that a bloodborne pathogen might be on Surgical wastes
  1. We have two types of containers for regulated waste.
    1. A laundry basket For items to be washed A garbage basket For items to be disposed of
  1. Both have the biohazard symbol on them (above).
  1. REMEMBER! Use proper PPE every time you handle these wastes.
